Thermally insulated outdoor double-shell aluminium cabinet STZD 1656/1330/830 (HxWxD) suitable for outdoor installation using a buried base. Cabinet with 19" rack rails, height 30U. IP55 protection rating.

The cabinet is made of aluminium, with the body being fully laser-welded.

The cabinet provides high level of protection against flooding and dust to the equipment inside. The cabinet has a default protection rating of IP 55 and an impact protection rating of IK 09.

The airtightness of the cabinet is achieved by means of three elements:

• Gasket - polyurethane poured on the door, when closed it tightly adheres to the flange in the body of the cabinet, the flange is profiled at an angle of 88 degrees and forms a gutter for draining water that gets between the door and the frame.
• A separating and filtering cassette on the cabinet door which provides protection against a water flow of 12,5 l/min in accordance with EN 60529 and a filter mat which acts as a barrier against dust.
• A separation cassette in the roof of the cabinet providing protection against a water jet of 12.5 l/min in accordance with EN 60529.

Three support constructions are used to mount devices inside the cabinet:

• Front rack rails spaced 19" wide, adjustable front - back 135 mm
• Rear rack rails spaced 19" wide, adjustable front - back 135 mm

Cabinet door set on steel internal hinges, locked with a four-point locking system behind the cabinet chamber (proprietary patent-pending locking system). Handle with cylinder lock, possible change of cylinder lock by customer.

"MOREK" cable grommet with IP66 protection rating is used for cable entry into the cabinet. The cable entry into the interior is simplified by the removable floor plate. A gasket is poured on the junction between the plate and the floor to maintain tightness.

The ceiling of the enclosure provides space for mounting an accessory ventilation panel to ensure that excess heat is dissipated from the cabinet. The choice of ventilation panel depends on the equipment mounted inside.

The cabinet is designed to be mounted on an adapted steel or aluminium base supplied by the manufacturer as a mounting accessory, or on any self-made concrete base.

No specific sealing is required at the connection between the cabinet and the foundation.
