Ethernet Surge Protector 8P in desktop chassis under AT/AF standard
The device allows PoE supply to be added to UTP and FTB twisted-pair cables, while providing effective protection for Ethernet devices against harmful electrostatic discharge and surges.
Provides protection for devices - up to and including 1 Gbps - compliant with the PoE AT/AF standard by enabling the selection of power supply method/option A or B.
It protects each wire in the four-pair cable by dissipating any potential electrical charge to earth. Displays chosen power supply method via LEDs. Provides an efficient and cost-effective solution against damage or destruction of the protected equipment.
The Ethernet Surge Protector gathers induced charges in the network and safely discharges them to earth, effectively preventing damage from surges. Do not apply voltages to the "LAN IN" ports.
The aesthetically pleasing powder-coated aluminium white chassis perfectly maintains the design of MikroTik's Cloud Core Router series. The rack holders provide the possibility of mounting the device in a cabinet.
The SPG-8P-D 802.3af/at Ethernet Surge Protector is a stand-alone desktop unit.
