The Tracom FTTX MDU E48 (uncut port) is a box-type splice enclosure with 50 inlet/outlet ports. This type of enclosure is used to protect fibre optic cable splices and splitter applications. It has a protection rating of IP68. The polycarbonate (PC) material that forms the enclosure is a high quality material that is resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures and chemicals, making it suitable for both overhead, duct and underground installations. It is designed for easy and efficient installation while offering a proven fibre management system. All metal parts of the splice are made from corrosion resistant materials. The splice has a patch panel for 48 SC Simplex/LC Duplex adapters, which in combination with 48 client cable outlets can significantly improve and reduce installation time.
