The unit has 5 outputs (O1...O5) separately fused with 500 mA cut-outs or PTC current limiters. The selection of protection elements is performed by setting jumpers.
In the case of choosing cut-out(s), a failure in the circuit of the output (short circuit/overloading) will result in blowing the fuse element and disconnecting the faulty circuit from the other ones. After eliminating the cause of the event, the cut-out has to be replaced with an identical one. Voltage presence at the outputs of the power supply unit is indicated by LEDs on the front panel.
If a circuit is protected with polymer PTC, in the case of short circuit/overloading, the output current is limited to a very small value and the corresponding LED goes off. After disconnecting the circuit and eliminating the cause of the failure, it can be powered again (not earlier than after one minute).
The output voltage is preset at the production stage to 12 V. For installations with considerable voltage drops across the resistance of the wires, it is possible to adjust the voltage level with a trim pot. The power supply unit has been designed according to the EU EMC and LVD requirements.

Stabilized
Stabilized power supply: ZS 12/5x0.4A AWZ05122 (metal housing)
Code: M18286
The stabilized power supply unit is designed for equipment demanding stabilized voltage of 12 VDC. The linear stabilizing system incorporated in the unit provides voltage with less noise and shorter response time to any changes than in the case of a switching regulator.
The unit has 5 outputs (O1...O5) separately fused with 500 mA cut-outs or PTC current limiters. The selection of protection elements is performed by setting jumpers.
