The purpose of the MikroTik RouterBOARD OmniTIK 5 ac RBOmniTikG-5HacD anti-noise shield is to eliminate any interference from other devices installed in the vicinity. In addition, the shield lowers the noise level, thus providing a significant radio band silencing.
The purpose of the shield is to significantly improve the performance of the shielded device by reducing emissions to the rear and sides of the device.
The use of interference shields is desirable at both base stations and client stations, particularly where there are a lot of equipment installed that may interfere with each other.
The cover is made of aluminium, which determines its resistance to corrosion and low weight.
Thanks to the use of CNC machine tool technology, the guard is made with perfect precision and repeatability of each piece.
